There is nothing quite like the 170+ San Juan Islands in Puget Sound.   Orcas Island, Lopez Island, Shaw Island and San Juan Island can be reached by Washington State Ferries.  Some visitors like to go to the other smaller islands like Blakely Island, Stuart Island, Cypress Island, Guemes Island, Decator Island, Waldron Island and Sucia Island (Washington State Parks island). All of the San Juan Islands are endowed with wonderful natural beauty.

Enjoy the many parks in the San Juan Islands:  Odlin County Park and Spencer Spit State Park on Lopez Island; Moran State Park and Eastsound Waterfront Park on Orcas Island; American Camp and English Camp National Historical Parks and Lime Kiln Point State Park (ideal for land based orca whale sightings) on San Juan Island.

Enjoy the wild life in the San Juan Islands and see marvelous creatures as bald eagles, harbor seals, river otters and killer whales. Black-tailed deer are prominent so keep an eye out for these graceful animals.
