Known for decades as the resort island, Orcas Island is the "Gem of the San Juans'" one of the most naturally beautiful and unique areas of the world. Located in the "Banana Belt" of the Pacific Northwest, the San Juans have an eternally temperate climate: moderate rainfall (less than half that of Seattle) and daytime temperatures that average a balmy 75 degrees during the summer and between 40 and 60 during the remaining months.
The SeaWatch at Rosario is an ideal spot to spend your summer or winter vacation, alone or with friends. The main house and guesthouse afford stunning views (below) from the great room, bedrooms, and guesthouse deck and dining nook, respectively.

A special feature of the spacious Main House is the great room with dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. The Main House also features large decks equipped with patio furniture and a gas grill for barbecuing. There are also a fireplace, cable TV/VCR/DVD, stereo, washer, and dryer.
The Main House, rented separately or combined with the Guesthouse, is available on a limited basis during the Season and Shoulder for family vacations, special events, and family
reunions in concert with Rosario Resort or other facilities. The Main house only is also available during the Off-Season (four night minimum). Pictured here, it is a fully furnished (including linens) two bedroom, two and one half baths, sleeps four guests
(queen-size beds in master suite and second bedroom).

The Guesthouse (above) is also available during the Season and Shoulder (3 night minimum). It is the fully furnished including linens, sleeps two guests (queen-size pull-down wall bed). It boasts a living room with fireplace, cable TV/VCR/DVD, and stereo; dining nook; fully equipped
kitchen; and bathroom. There is also a small private deck with patio furniture, and a gas grill for barbecuing.
Orcas Island is about one and one half hours by ferry from Anacortes, Washington (1 1/2 to 2 hours north of Seattle or south of Vancouver, BC, respectively). It is also possible to come to the SeaWatch by plane or private boat. The Orcas airport is located in the village of Eastsound and sea planes land at the Rosario marina across the street from the SeaWatch. Private boats also dock at the marina.
